A compact, cost effective solution

Compared to existing solutions on the market, NOVELIC’s sensor is significantly smaller, while achieving a wide 180° field-of-view with only one radar chip.

Radar data processing is done on the module itself, with processed data being sent over a CAN interface, or an automotive-grade wireless interface. This enables easier integration and a lower system cost for vehicles that may not necessary have a CAN network in place. The sensor can thus be easily employed in aftermarket solutions, for retrofitting.

The same module is used for blind spot monitoring, lane change assist, moving-off information systems, and front/rear collision warnings for semi-trailer trucks, buses, dump trucks and more. AUTOSAR and cybersecurity functionality can be provided as needed.
