Elevator Zone Detection
Our sensor can monitor the area in front of the elevator for passengers, allowing the elevator to skip a floor if the person who called the elevator is no longer waiting for it, increasing efficiency.
The sensor also allows for automatic calling of the elevator, if passengers are detected in the waiting area.
Elevator Occupancy Detection
Our sensor can detect if an elevator cabin is at full capacity – enabling the elevator to skip floor stops until there is enough space for another person, thus saving energy and time.
Additionally, the lights can be turned off until the elevator has passengers.
Elevator Fall Detection
If a passenger is lying unresponsive on the floor of the elevator, our sensor can detect them and let the security system call for help.
Radar sensors do not invade the privacy of passengers, and don’t require human monitoring to alert security, allowing for integration in all types of workplaces.
Elevator Shaft Presence Detection
If a maintenance worker is working in the elevator shaft, our sensor can detect them and prevent any potential collision.
