NOVELIC’s 79 GHz mmWave radar platform presents a new approach to collision avoidance and SLAM navigation for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).

The wide 180° field-of-view, superior near-range performance, vertical scanning abilities, and relatively low cost make it an alternative to 2D LiDAR scanners commonly used in AMRs.

Four sensors are able to cover all sides of the AMR, enabling safe operation in all conditions.
