This Policy relates to collection and processing of personal data by the business company NOVELIC LLC BELGRADE, Veljka Dugosevica 54. Corporate ID No. 20877537 (hereinafter “NOVELIC” or “we”), further to the Law on Personal Data Protection applied in the Republic of Serbia. It is also compliant to the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU), which is in force in the EU Member Countries from 25th of May 2018.    

This Policy describes the types of data which may be collected through our website www.novelic.com (the “Site”), the purposes of such collection, how we use and protect the collected data, as well as the rights exercisable by individuals in respect of their personal data.

We also provide you with contact information in order to obtain additional information on our privacy policy. 

In accordance with Articles 21 and 23 of the Law on Personal Data Protection (“the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”, No.87/2018 – hereinafter: the Law), by fulfilling the obligation of the controller in the capacity of a legal entity toward you, as a person from whom data related to you are collected, we provide to you, at the moment of the collection of those data, not depending on whether the collecting is performed via our web page or via other channels, with the following pieces of information:

How do we gather personally identifiable information?

  • When you apply for a job – your first and family name, address, e-mail, telephone number, date and place of birth, sex, citizenship, photography, data of your career and employments and other data contained in your application, CV and other attachments.

  • Cameras may capture images of individuals at our locations.
  • Sensitive personal data: Apart from our own employees, we do not generally gather sensitive or special categories of personal data. Novelic may require processing the sensitive personal information of our employees and would only process such data when required to do so for the purpose of protecting vital interests of individuals, establishing, or defending legal claims, exercising its rights and obligations as an employer (including for occupational health purposes), or with the explicit consent of the individual or individuals involved.

Child data: Novelic’s Website does not specifically focus on or cater to individuals under the age of 18. Our policy ensures that we do not collect or retain any information about individuals under the age of 18. Although we make every effort to avoid collecting information from individuals under the age of 18, there may be instances where our employees provide us with information about children and families for internal employment purposes. While we strive to avoid collecting information from individuals under 18 years of age, we may receive details about children with the necessary consent from their parents or guardians.

NOVELIC collects and uses personal data in accordance with applicable regulations, in order to: 

  • process data with purpose to select candidates for employment and make suitable contract;
  • answer your enquiries related to our activity;

  • for other lawful business purposes, as such as provision of information on what we think may be of interest. 

We do not collect your personal data for the purposes of offering goods or services, neither for monitoring of your behaviour.

NOVELIC applies appropriate measures for protection of your personal data against accidental, unlawful or unauthorized destruction, loss, modification, access, disclosure or use. 

Personal data provided to us are not sold or disclosed, except as described herein or otherwise revealed to you at the time the data is collected.

Are personal details disclosed to third parties?

  • On occasion, we may disclose personal information and it may be accessible to authorized Internal recipients within Novelic and its subsidiaries or our authorized service providers including cloud service providers who provide services to Novelic, tax consultants and authorities, Government Bodies including statutory, regulatory authorities, law-enforcement agencies (where applicable), Auditors (internal/external).
  • Consequently, on occasion, Customers, Vendors, Suppliers Information might be transferred to said other organization and the concerned Information will always be safeguarded by the organization, irrespective of its location of use or transfer.
  • In addition, the organization may divulge Affiliate information in situations where such disclosure is required to adhere to a legal or statutory duty.

Are your personal details transferred outside of EU Region?

Personal data may be transferred to our subsidiaries located outside of Serbia namely USA, China, India, and Mexico only if there is a legitimate business purpose for us to involve those entities. It is the responsibility of Novelic to ensure the preservation of personal data in adherence to relevant data protection legislation and contractual obligations.

Automatic data collection and cookies

Novelic uses statistics data about visitors of its Site, without their personal identification. The collection of this data allows us to improve the performance, usability and effectiveness of our online presence.
