Darko Tasovac
Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder
Darko is the CEO of NOVELIC. He oversees the day-to-day design service projects and finances of the company. Darko has an engineering background in IC and FPGA design and signal processing, and expertise in radar signal processing and baseband communication layer design.
Before co-founding NOVELIC, Darko was working as a design engineer for digital ASIC and FPGA at TES Electronic Solutions for six years. He worked on Gbit/s communication system design in the mm-Wave range, especially on 10 Gbit/s Baseband System prototyping on larger FPGAs, a digital system concept for mm-wave radar processing and its hardware implementation.
Darko is the co-author of two patented and several patent-pending applications.
Darko earned a Dipl. Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Belgrade, with distinction and participation in several prominent projects. Before TES, as a young engineer, Darko participated in an international project on UAV hardware design.
Veljko Mihajlović
Chief Technology Officer, Co-Founder
Veljko is the chief technology officer at NOVELIC. He leads the product and technology roadmap. He also steers the organization buildup of NOVELIC.
Prior to co-founding NOVELIC in 2013, Veljko had been working for 6 years as an engineer and project manager in TES Electronic Solutions, where he specialized in 802.11 MAC and PHY layer architectures and FPGA/ASIC implementation. He also worked quite a lot on industrial sensors signal processing and calibration. He gained industrial experience through bringing 2 complex products from the concept to the production prototype.
Together with NOVELIC engineers, he is the co-author of two granted patents, several patent-pending applications, and several scientific publications.
Veljko earned a Dipl. Ing. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Belgrade, with grades among the top 5% of his generation.

Dr Veselin Branković
Chief Sales Officer, Co-Founder
Veselin is leading NOVELIC’s sales efforts and managing sales representatives. He acts as the key account for major customers in Germany. With more than 27 years of professional experience, Veselin worked in academia for 6 years at the University of Bremen, as a research assistant, and at the University of Dresden, as a postdoctoral researcher, before joining the Sony R&D Wireless Centre in Stuttgart in 1996. He was active as an RF technical leader on advanced mm-wave technologies for the next 6 years. From 2002 to Q1 2013, Veselin was acting as Director HW Development, coordinating high tech design service activities with the TES Electronics Solutions design center in Stuttgart, with P&L responsibility for the team of engineers in Stuttgart and Belgrade.
Veselin is the holder of 36 granted patents, several pending patent applications, more than 40 publications, and 2 Sony advanced R&D awards. He was involved in different EU and German research programs. Veselin attended lectures at IMD Business School in Lausanne.
Together with NOVELIC engineers, he is the co-author of two granted patents, several patent-pending applications, and several scientific publications.
Dr Raffaele Soloperto
Vice-President of Radar Solutions
Raffaele got his PhD in Telecommunication and Electronic Engineering at the University of Bologna in 2011. During his doctoral studies, he worked with the German Aerospace Center (DLR, Bayern), focusing on high-order modulation schemes and complex channel codings (LDPC) for satellite systems. In parallel, Raffaele worked with Wilab, the Italian national laboratory for wireless communications, working to bring papers and ideas to products.
From 2013 to 2019, he worked at Intel Mobile GmbH, working on connectivity platforms (WiFi, Bluetooth), as well as 4G and 5G modems, until Apple acquired the Munich operations. From 2019 to 2024, he worked at Infineon Technologies AG as the Radar Director, leading the System Team developing automotive applications based on 24GHz and 60Ghz radars.
Atul Verma
Vice-President of Sales, EMEA
With an educational background in Electronics Engineering and an MBA in Finance, Atul has navigated through various roles across his career journey. His experiences span from digital design engineering to project and program management, from marketing and business development to sales account management, and finally, to leadership positions in sales at renowned companies such as NXP, Infineon, Renesas, TASKING (Altium), and Dassault Systèmes.

Borko Lepojević
Business Development Director for ADAS Solutions
Borko is an experienced leader in the software development industry. He is passionate about technology and even more driven by business and organization development. However, Borko says that his greatest motivation comes from the growth of people.
Since 2018, Borko has been focused on software development in the automotive industry, serving as Head of Bosch SoftTec Belgrade and General Manager of Rivian R&D Center in Belgrade. He led engineering organizations responsible for delivering projects related to vehicle software in the fields of ADAS, OTA updates, infotainment, as well as mobile device and vehicle integration for both segments: four-wheelers and two-wheelers.
Borko graduated from the Military Technical Academy in 2003 with a degree in software engineering and received his magister degree from the University of Belgrade in 2012 in the field of Over-The-Air (OTA) management of secure elements in systems based on Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. He has held numerous engineering and engineering manager positions within the Ministry of Defence. For over a decade, Borko was an entrepreneur running his own company.
