NOVELIC at CES 2026: A Recap
The world’s biggest technology show, CES, represents a pivotal moment for many industries, including the automotive industry – a moment for recalibration, and an opportunity for OEMs and Tier 1s to present their vision for mobility tech going forward. CES 2026 was NOVELIC’s fourth time at the exhibition, teaming up with Sona Comstar to present motor, driveline, and sensor solutions for the broader mobility sector.
In-Cabin Monitoring – ACAM200 and beyond
NOVELIC is entering 2026 as a company with a mass-production product launch – with ACAM, our in-cabin monitoring radar solution, set to bring industry-leading CPD performance to passenger vehicles in the coming years.
Select visitors at the booth were able to get a sneak peek of the future – a combined radar + camera in-cabin monitoring solution, covering key driver and occupant monitoring Euro NCAP scenarios.
Do More With Radar – ASPER Radar Platform
NOVELIC’s ASPER 79 GHz radar platform presents a unique approach to exterior sensing in the automotive industry – covering 180° FoV with one sensor, it is able to replace ultrasonic parking sensors, as well as traditional corner radar sensors, while bringing additional functionality at an affordable system cost.
Various functionalities were demonstrated on an interactive LED video wall, where visitors were able to see the sensor’s response time, close distance detection, and wide field-of-view, easily applicable for functionality such as park assist, power door protection, kick-to-open, blind spot detection & more.
Power Electronics Solutions for Light Electric Vehicles
NOVELIC debuted its new advanced OBC, BMS, and VCU platforms for Light Electric Vehicle (LEV) applications. Thanks to their high level of flexibility and adaptability, these platforms can be efficiently tailored by NOVELIC’S engineering teams to match specific vehicle architectures, enabling a shorter time-to-market while significantly reducing non-recurring engineering (NRE) and testing costs. The platforms can be deployed as standalone devices, or implemented into the vehicle as an integrated interconnected system of modules, providing comprehensive vehicle control, monitoring, and power management functionalities.
CES 2026 was exciting for all of us – and we are honored to have shared the world stage with other innovators in the mobility space. We are looking forward to what the next year brings!
