NOVELIC leverages 24 GHz, 60 GHz, and 79 GHz mmWave radar sensors to provide cost-effective solutions such as kick-to-open, sunroof gesture control, and distraction-free infotainment control, either as discrete solutions or add-on features on existing modules.

Our mmWave radar sensors can provide kick-to-open functionality for the tailgate, liftgate, or trunk, either as a separate radar module, or as an add-on feature for our 180° short-range radar parking solution, eliminating the need for a dedicated capacitive kick sensor.

In addition to occupant monitoring features, NOVELIC’s ACAM In-Cabin Monitoring module is capable of gesture recognition for the driver, allowing drivers a distraction-free way to open and close the sunroof, operate the infotainment system, or control the windows and AC.
