The present NovelIC invention discloses a mm-wave radar sensor to be deployed as emotion sensor, being inherently small size, and being able to be produced in low cost manner. The objects are human beings with vital signs vibrations, and animals with vital sign vibrations, where the system calculates and detects the frequency of vital sign rates: heartbeats and respiration frequencies. The values of vital signs rates as well as the changes of vital sign rates are used together with objects vital signs profile to calculate the emotion value. Emotion value can be information about object mood or simple alert of the excitements or calmness, as well as information of the increased or decreased excitement. Preferably, the proposed apparatus is using 60 GHz ISM Band integrated radar front, working in Doppler mode.
Generally NovelIC Emotion Sensor is giving following Event detection:
- The person under observation is excited;
- The person under observation is calm;
- The person under observation is getting more excited;
- The person under observation is getting less excited;
The person under observation experiences mood swing, where there is a mood scale covering full excitement at one end (high), and full calmness at the other end(low).
